• 10 April 2025: PowerShell + DevOps Global Summit where I presented Ansible and Windows. How does PowerShell enable a Linux config manager to work in a Windows world? in Seattle, USA.

• 21 June 2023: PowerShell Conference Europe where I spoke on the topic of WinRM vs. OpenSSH: A Showdown for PowerShell Remoting in Prague, Czech Republic. A recording is available on the PS Conf EU YouTube channel. The code is available on the PS Conf EU GitHub.

• 14 January 2021: Glasgow Data User Group, where I spoke on The What, Where and Why of Git to a virtual group via Zoom.

• 30 January 2020: BridgeConf where I spoke on Automating The Software Deployment Lifecycle with Chocolatey, PowerShell and Jenkins to a completely virtual event!

• 8 January 2020: Gainesville PowerShell User Group, where I presented Click Free Application Deployment With The Magic of PowerShell and Chocolatey remotely. This was a late one for me as we started at 11.30pm UK time!

• 20 November 2019: Tech UG meeting, where there was a good turnout for my presentation of Click Free Application Deployment With The Magic of PowerShell and Chocolatey at a really great venue.

• 19 October 2019: Glasgow Hacktoberfest, where I presented Git Fundamentals to the workshop attendees. The event was organized by Craig Porteous [t|b] and I.

• 24 September 2019: I spoke at WinOps, in London, where I talked about Click Free Application Deployment With The Magic of PowerShell and Chocolatey.

• 13 September 2019: DATA:Scotland, where I presented a familiar talk Git Fundamentals: Open Up A World Of Community And Collaboration. The event was organized by Craig Porteous [t|b], Louise Paterson and Robert French [t|b].

• 29 August 2019: Tech UG Glasgow, where I presented Click Free Application Deployment With The Magic of PowerShell and Chocolatey.

• 2 July 2019: North East Azure User Group, where I presented Automating the Software Deployment Lifecycle in Azure with Chocolatey, Jenkins and PowerShell a slant on my usual Automating The Software Deployment Lifecycle presentation where I included Azure DevOps Artifacts Feeds.

• 7 June 2019: I spoke at PowerShell Conference Europe on Click Free Application Deployment With The Magic of PowerShell and Chocolatey. The session was recorded for YouTube.

• 22 May 2019: Scottish PowerShell & DevOps User Group at where I presented Automating the Software Deployment Lifecycle with Chocolatey, Jenkins and PowerShell.

• 27 February 2019: Scottish PowerShell & DevOps User Group at which I presented Click Free Application Deployment With The Magic of PowerShell and Chocolatey.

• 27 November 2018: Data Platform and Cloud User Group, where I presented two talks: PowerShell Standards Agency presentation with Craig Porteous [t|b] and Git Fundamentals.

• 20 November 2018: PowerShell Southampton User Group where Craig Porteous [t|b] travelled all the way to the other end of the UK to present The PowerShell Standards Agency.

• 26 September 2018: Scottish PowerShell & DevOps User Group where Craig Porteous [t|b] and I presented The PowerShell Standards Agency.

• 20 September 2018: DevOps North East (D.O.N.E.) User Group where Craig Porteous [t|b] and I presented The PowerShell Standards Agency.

• 15 September 2018: French PowerShell User Group, Paris, my first time in France I presented Git Fundamentals.

• 23 August 2018: Austin PowerShell User Group, where Craig Porteous [t|b] and I continue our The PowerShell Standards Agency roadshow where we stayed up really late for this remote presentation. But it was worth it. And the group recorded it too!

• 25 July 2018: Microsoft Stack User Group is based in Wales so Craig Porteous [t|b] and I took the roadshow a long way to present The PowerShell Standards Agency.

• 22 June 2018: SQL Grillen was our first event presentation of The PowerShell Standards Agency. This was my first time at this fantastic event in Lingen. If you like Beer and Bratwurst then this is the event for you!

• 30 May 2018: Scottish PowerShell & DevOps User Group was the first leg on our roadshow, and the debut of The PowerShell Standards Agency.

• 18 January 2018: SQL Glasgow User Group is where I learned a valuable lesson - never present on somebody else’s computer! The Demo Gods don’t like it. This was the first time I had presented Git Fundamentals. See all my mistakes on YouTube.

• 30 August 2017: Scottish PowerShell & DevOps User Group, where I presented Validate Your PowerShell Parameters With Enums. This was based on a couple of blog posts I wrote about working with and creating Enums in PowerShell.

• 21 June 2017: Scottish PowerShell & DevOps User Group is where I gacve my very first presentation, in my home town of Glasgow in Scotland. Be A Good PowerShell Citizen was a gentle introduction to presenting in front of an audience.
