PSConfEU 2023 Aftermath

I’m back from an incredible 4 days at PSConfEU 2023 and wanted to share some highlights of my experience. This was my sixth time attending PSConfEU, and it exceeded all expectations!

PowerShell enthusiasts gathered in Prague for 4 packed days of learning and networking. The speaker line-up was loaded with PowerShell legends like Jeffrey Hicks, Rob Sewell, Bruce Payette and many more. I was honoured to present among this all-star group.

My talks - “WinGet and Chocolatey: A Real-World Look at Package Management Tools” and “WinRM vs. OpenSSH: A Showdown for PowerShell Remoting” - were both well-attended and received great feedback. Attendees appreciated the unbiased, side-by-side comparisons of key technologies.

The Q&A sessions sparked interesting discussions, and many came up afterwards with more thoughtful questions and observations. Presenting provided me with valuable insight into which PowerShell topics fellow admins need more guidance on. Beyond the presentations, it was incredible connecting with members of the PowerShell community from so many different countries.

PSConfEU was meticulously organized, allowing attendees to fully immerse themselves in the conference experience. The venue was perfect, the food / beverage options on point, and the whole schedule flowed seamlessly.
