I Will Be Speaking At The French PowerShell Saturday
It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Work. Life. And speaking. Have all taken it’s toll on my time. It’s always at the back of my mind when I come across a problem, solve it and think ‘hey that would make a good blog post’. And then promptly get wrapped up in something else and that solution never gets shared.
… but that does lead me nicely to my next big knowledge sharing event (it’s like I planned this post!).
I will be speaking at the French PowerShell Saturday, in Paris, on 15 September on Git Fundamentals - Open up a world of community and collaboration. There will be two tracks, French and English, 12 speakers and a whole lot of PowerShell aficionados. The schedule is available at the Meetup page.
The Git Fundamentals talk is one I gave back in January to the SQL Glasgow group but has been updated since then and will be the first of the three times I will be giving it this month. Details on those other dates, and the next tour date for the The PowerShell Standards Agency, with Craig Porteous, will be announced soon!
But before I go I’d like to make sure you all know about a fantastic local meetup we have planned for October. The Glasgow Azure, SQL Glasgow and the Scottish PowerShell & DevOps User Group are planning a joint SUPER meetup for 24 October. We are looking for speakers to give a 10 minute talk and you will get help with this from the group leaders. So if you ever fancied speaking but were too afraid to ask more, now is your time to start with a simple 10 minute talk and some help from us. And if you want to attend, get your tickets now!
Hopefully I get to see some of you on Saturday but if not keep an eye out for the other dates! And remember to signup for the October SUPER meetup, speaker or attendee.
